Turner is renowned for his sublime paintings in his era. He is the one of the representatives in sublime art in the Enlightenment.

I like the paintings that you chosed in this post, espacilly "A Rocky Gorge" of John Glover . I think he classical oil painting is not easy to be surmount in this generation ,Their fine skill and the expressive imposing manner had already achieved the crest.
