Turner is renowned for his sublime paintings in his era. He is the one of the representatives in sublime art in the Enlightenment.


5. Identify some other artists or designers that work with ideas around the Sublime, from the Enlightenment era as well as contemporary artists.

7. Add a Sublime image of your choice to your blog, which can be Art or just a Sublime photograph.



Today, the genre of sublime in the art also developed in terms of the medium for example, from classic paints to photography and different prints.

  1. I like the paintings that you chosed in this post, espacilly "A Rocky Gorge" of John Glover . I think he classical oil painting is not easy to be surmount in this generation ,Their fine skill and the expressive imposing manner had already achieved the crest.
    It not diffecult for us to experence how powerful the nature is via watching the paintings from Sublime time or the modren arts works which can show the ideas from sublime.
